Scholarships

Every attendee will have the opportunity to win 1 of 8 scholarships.

Rules

  1. 2 page essay Arial font 10 point.
  2. Any topic that means a lot to you.  Yes it can be about anything.
  3. Be creative with your essay!  USE INNOVATION.
  4. Commit to attending a HBCU that is in attendance at the fair.
  5. 1 entry per admission ticket purchased, per person.  Include your email address in your essay that you used to register for the fair.
  6. Have fun writing it.
Terms & Conditions

1 entry per attendee.  Deadline for all entries is November 15, 2020.  Share the event on your social media channels with the hashtag #HBCUFairOnline after you submit your essay.

8 Scholarships awards:
1- $5,000
3- $1,000
4- $500
Scholarships will be awarded to the HBCU financial aids office that you commit to and is non transferable.

Terms & Conditions

Submit your 2 page essay through our Scholarship Submission Form and share the event on your social channels with the hashtag #HBCUFAIRONLINE

ADMISSION TICKET PURCHASE NECESSARY; void where prohibited. Contest open to any incoming, current, full-time student of an accredited two-year or four-year HBCU university or college in attendance at the fair.  There is no age or specific major requirement.  Contest starts 12:00 AM (EST) on 12/02/2019 and ends 12:00 AM (EST) on 02/15/2020.

The 8 contest winners will receive one of the following amounts:
1 person- $5,000, 3 persons- $1,000, and 4 persons- $500 scholarships towards the HBCU college tuition of their choice.  Monies will be paid directly to the Financial Aid office of the HBCU they attend.

To enter, during the contest period, submit your essay and share the fair on your social media channels with the hashtag #HBCUFairOnline.
